Ozzy And Sharon Osbourne True Love
In July 2002 Sharon Osbourne was diagnosed with colon cancer and later revealed that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and was more serious than originally thought. Fortunately Sharon Osbourne survived the disease against a 33% survival prognosis. It was a terrible time for the Osbourne family but, despite battling cancer, Sharon insisted that the MTV cameras document her illness during the filming of the second season of The Osbournes. Sharon Osbourne battled through the hard days of chemotherapy and when her hair fell out during treatment, her wigs were custom made by Cher’s wigmaker.
Ozzy Osbourne had a terrible time coming to terms with his beloved wife having cancer. Ozzy admitted that he “fell apart” during her treatment and recovery, and Jack Osbourne later revealed that he tried to commit suicide because of his depression stemming from his mother’s condition.
It was during the time of family crises that Ozzy Osbourne wrote the song, “Lay Your World On Me”. If you have any doubt how much Sharon and Ozzy love each other listen to this song. It’s a song that says it all plus a lot more. It’s a song that reflects the couples love for one another perfectly and is a very beautiful song.
know you think you’re all alone
I haven’t been there when you’ve needed me
I didn’t deserve the love you gave
But now I’m telling you I’m here if you need a friend
Give me your pain
Give me your anger
Let me be your rock
I can be the pillar of strength that you need
I’ll help you keep it all together
It’s better late than never
Lay your world on me
I can take the weight
Don’t let it twist you up inside
Time never fails to make the heartache stop
You’ve got to let those feelings go
I’ll give you everything I can if you say the word
Give me your pain
Give me your anger
Let me be your rock
I can be the pillar of strength that you need
I’ll help you keep it all together
It’s better late than never
Lay your world on me
I can take the weight
We all laugh and we all cry
We all hurt the same inside
We all fall down and we lose faith in who we really are
But if we bend instead of break
The choice for us is to make it together
Lay your world on me
I’ll help you keep it all together
It’s better late than never
Lay your world on me
Lay your world on me
Lay your world on me
I can take the weight
Ozzy Osbourne

That is a really beautiful song. I can tell that Ozzy really does love Sharon. I’m not sure if I told you, but my grandfather is also a colon cancer survivor.
