The Osbourne’s Are Who They Are And Need No Excuses
The Osbourne’s are, as you probably know by now one of my inspiration’s in life. I was reading a web page about “The Osbourne’s” the other day and it really upset me. It was talking about how disgusting they are and how they are not Godly people because they swear. There were quotes from scripture and although I am a born again Christian when I read the article it was really judgemental. It really annoys me when people try to force their religious beliefs on a person because if they want to believe it is up to them and God. I know I might be looked upon badly for being a Christian and loving “The Osbourne’s”, but I honestly don’t care. I do not judge people and I do not force my religion on anyone. “The Osbourne’s” yes, they swear and maybe they don’t fit into a box that a devote Christian may like them to, but they are who they are. I love them just the way they are. We all have faults, every single one of us have faults, so who are we to say that a person should behave in this way or that way. We have to accept people just the way they are. I love “The Osbourne’s” philosophy and attitude. The way they don’t care what others think and will say what everyone is thinking, but too afraid to say. How many people in life are as honest or truthful as the Osbourne’s? How many people do you know that would open their mouth and say what everyone else is thinking, but too afraid to say? My answer is, I do not know one person like “The Osbourne’s”. If you want to condemn me for being a born again Christian and loving The Osbourne’s then go ahead. The truth is that Jesus loved sinners and we are all sinful in some way or another. I have never fit in a box, I won’t be restrained by the world and I do not want to conform to societies ways. I am who I am and I guess that is one reason why I love The Osbourne’s so much because they are who they are. As the famous Shirley Bassey song goes;
I am what I am
I am my own special creation
So come take a look
Give me the hook or the ovation
It’s my world that I want to
have a little pride in
My world and it’s not a
place I have to hide in
Life’s not worth a damn till you can say
Hey world I am what I am
I am what I am
I don’t want praise
I don’t want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think it’s noise
I think it’s pretty
And so what if I love each
feather and each spangle
Why not try and see things
from a different angle
Your life is a sham till you can say
Hey world I am what I amI am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the ace
Sometimes the deuces
It’s my life and there’s no
return and no deposit
One life, so it’s time to
open up your closet
Life’s not worth a damn till you can say
Hey world I am what I am

I think that this song sums up The Osbourne’s very well. The Osbourne’s are their own special creation and they have made a name for themselves by being warm, open and honest. They are extremely successful, talented and have contributed so much to the world of music and entertainment. The Osbourne’s live in their own world and are an extremely close family that have been through some bad experiences but, through it all have stayed together. I think this song is just perfect for the Osbourne’s because it just sums up who they are.

I agree with you mickie. I don’t think that people should judge the Osbournes because they may not be like other people. They are not the first family to use profanity so they shouldn’t be judged for it. As long as they are not hurting people, there is no need to judge them for their actions. The people who have these problems with them are probably the ones that are doing hurtful things to people.
