Sharon Osbourne Banned From Jay Leno
Sharon Osbourne has been banned from Jay Leno’s 10 p.m show in September all because Ozzy performed on Jimmy Kimmel. Sharon told The Post’s Sean Daly, “I wouldn’t go on it. [Bleep] no,” She went on to say, “He had always been a friend of ours, but then Ozzy went and performed on Jimmy Kimmel, and Jay has banned us ever since. So [bleep] him!”
An NBC rep said, “Ozzy was on Kimmel on May 22, 2007, and we had Sharon on Aug. 3, 2007. We’ve never banned them from the show, and have made offers to Ozzy since then.”
I think it is Jay Leno’s loss since he banned Sharon from the show. Having watched Sharon Osbourne on the Jimmy Kimmel show I don’t think she needs to worry about Jay Leno’s 10p.m show. I thought it was great entertainment watching Sharon on the Jimmy Kimmel show the pair of them gelled really well and produced very entertaining television. I have watched a few episodes of Sharon Osbourne on Jimmy Kimmel and each time she made me laugh. It all seemed so natural and fluent like the pair really bounced off each others personality. Maybe Jay Leno was just not meant to happen. Sometimes it works like that, but I don’t think it is any great loss it just goes to show how shallow people can be all because Ozzy appeared on Jimmy Kimmel.At the end of the day Jay Leno will realise what he is missing because The Osbourne family would have boosted his ratings and made people tune in to watch. It also goes to show the lack of value people place on friendships in the celebrity world.
I am a way bigger fan of Sharon’s than Jay Lenos. I’ve never understood his fame.
It’s a shame that Jay would do that to Sharon considering she is a judge on a show that’s on the same network.
