Ozzy Osbourne Is No Idiot
Jack Osbourne wants the world to know that his father is not the senile, funny, bumbling guy that the Osbourne’s painted him out to be. Jack Osbourne told the Rolling Stone magazine “Yeah, my dad can be that guy, but it’s not [all of] him. ”
Jack is making a documentary about his father that will rejuvenate his dad’s rocker image. He has employed his own friends and his dad’s previous band mates to get involved with the documentary he started filming this month.
Jack explained “My dad’s not an idiot – he’s nothing short of a genius, in my opinion,” he said. “He does have huge flaws, and we’re trying to really paint an honest picture of that.”
I think this is fantastic because there has been a lot said about Ozzy that isn’t true. In fact, there has been a lot said about the Osbourne’s that isn’t true. We should always remember that the press only tell one side of the story and never seem to tell it how it is. This documentary will hopefully rid the image that people have developed about Ozzy and show his caring, loving side.
The Osbourne’s, MTV series lasted four seasons and made Ozzy and his family the most comical and loveable family since the Waltons. Jack Osbourne believes that the show damaged his father’s reputation and hopes the documentary will invite people to meet another side of his father. The documentary will be a truthful look at Ozzy’s finer personality. Jack has admitted “The hard thing is getting people to be honest and not have it be a fluff piece, because that’s not what we’re trying to do,” he said.
The film’s production schedule is flexible there are no set dates for filming but, Jack hopes to let fans at this year’s Ozzfest preview parts. It has also been said that there is going to be a museum at Ozzfest where people will be able to walk through and look at photo’s, records and memorabilia. At the end of the museum would be 5 minutes of the documentary to introduce fans to it.
Nobody is saying that Ozzy hasn’t got that bumbling side of his personality to him, but he isn’t an idiot. He’s a smart man with a brain in his head and bags of talent.
yeah, anyone that makes that kind of money must have something going for him. And his wife is pretty smart too. so, I doubt that he would be stupid, because she wouldn’t put up with it.
