Sharon Osbourne X Judge Or Not?
Sharon Osbourne’s replacement on the X Factor Cheryl Cole might be younger and appeal to younger people, but let’s face it what kind of personality does she have compared with Sharon Osbourne? Although I have a lot of respect for Cheryl Cole and I do like her which is more than can be said for Danni Minogue. I miss Sharon Osbourne, her personality shone through on the X Factor and now we are all missing a vital ingredient that made the X Factor work. Whilst Simon Cowell might think he is the bee all and end all of the X Factor it is Sharon Osbourne who really brought vitality and energy to the show. I have heard rumours that Sharon Osbourne might be making a come back next year, but we will have to wait to see if anything comes of that. I know that Sharon Osbourne wanted to take part in Strictly Come Dancing, but I guess she will have to make her mind up over one or the other.Cheryl Cole is fun to watch with her Geordie accent and empathic manner, but she is never going to replace Sharon Osbourne. Sharon Osbourne was happy enough when she found out that Cheryl Cole was replacing her on the X Factor she even suggested that Cheryl Col would be a good replacement and that she wanted to see her get the role. Cheryl Cole’s girl band have all supported her decision to be a judge on the X Factor and one of the girl’s from the band actually helped Cheryl Cole when deciding which contestants should go through to the live shows.
There is no doubt that Cheryl Cole is talented and classy, but her personality is not as strong as Sharon Osbourne’s and I miss that factor. When Sharon Osbourne suggested that Cheryl Cole take her place she also said that it would take the X Factor to a different place, but that doesn’t seem to have happened. The place where the X Factor is at now is that it desperately needs Sharon Osbourne back. Yes, the contestants are fantastic, some admittedly better than others, but the show needs Sharon Osbourne’s pizazz and energy.
Some people have even suggested that the reason Sharon Osbourne left the X Factor was due to her not being paid enough. I don’t believe these rumours for one minute. You might wonder why I don’t? Well the reason is clear, Sharon Osbourne is not just about money she has values and morals. It is more than money for Sharon Osbourne she values the finer things in life. Although I hope that the other rumours are correct and Sharon Osbourne will return in next year’s show I also respect the fact that maybe Sharon wants to take things a little slower and concentrate on other aspects of her career.
