There has been so much bad press about Ozzy Osbourne and the industry seem to have him stereotyped as a clown. The industry doesn’t seem to realise that there is a deeper side to Ozzy somewhat endearing. When Ozzy appeared on the Osbourne’s television series he was made out to be the funniest, crankiest man around, but what wasn’t shown was the other side to Ozzy. Ozzy might be witty and funny, but he is much deeper than this. Thankfully Jack Osbourne is aiming to change the impression people have of Ozzy and show the other more serious side of Ozzy that the series didn’t show.

Jack will request the help of friends and family to create an Ozzy documentary showcasing Ozzy’s finer points. Ozzy is a sever dyslexic so there was never a time where Ozzy would have liked to write a book. However it will be more of a talking book and a look at Ozzy’s autobiography. Filming began in January and each band member from Black Sabbath will be interviewed. Family and friends will also be interviewed, but the only way it will work is if the people interviewed are truthful and honest about Ozzy.

Jack Osbourne intends to write a truthful account of who Ozzy is and if interviewees are not honest then a truthful account will not be made. Whilst Ozzy is a funny character he is not like that undernearth. Underneath the exterior Ozzy is serious, sensitive and passionate about life. Ozzy loves singing and has taken it serious from a young age on the other hand you have a loving dad and husband who would do anything for his family. Jack Osbourne is hoping to show clips of the film at next years Ozzfest.

I think Sharon Osbourne is the same, but because the industry like focussing on a certain aspect of a persons personality they tend to forget the other points that make a person tick. Often people only focus on the negative points. Like the other day I was speaking to someone in a shop and we got on to the conversation of Sharon Osbourne somehow. Anyway the lady asked if I had read Sharon Osbourne’s autobiography which of course I had. So this lady was telling me how she couldn’t read it because of all the swearing. Well… To tell you the truth I don’t like all that swearing either, but you have to look past that. That is only one side of Sharon Osbourne, yes it is part of who she is, but if you cannot look past that then you will miss a beautiful and intelligent woman who has lived and learned through life. Sharon Osbourne I one of life’s survivors she proves that you can get over the bad stuff and still move on. Even though I probably relate more to Sharon I still love each one of her family members because each one shows that hard work and perseverance pays off.
