Last week Dannii Minogue was in tears when Louis Walsh apparently told Dannii that she had taken the song Louis wanted to use for his act JLS. However despite the fact that it was obvious Dannii Minogue was the one who caused the most fuss about this Louis Walsh is the one that has been made to look like the bad guy. Louis Walsh didn’t blurt out his feelings on live television like Dannii Minogue did, she had a choice to make him feel bad and she made that choice to belittle him live on stage. I personally have never had a good feeling about Dannii Minogue I think she likes playing up to the camera and wants everyone to fall under her spell.

Sharon Osbourne has stood up for Louis Walsh stating that Dannii Minogue cried crocodile tears to make Louis Walsh look bad and I agree with her. Something that came as a little bit of a shock is that Louis Walsh has Tourette’s Syndrome. I didn’t realise he had it because he manages it so well.
‘Louis is genuinely upset because he doesn’t want people to think he is a bully,’ she tells The Sun.

‘It’s the last thing he is but that’s what people think when Dannii’s sitting like a porcelain doll with big fat tears rolling down her cheeks. ‘People who don’t know Louis would be watching and thinking, “That poor girl!”

‘Louis has Tourette’s — he has no filter — so he says whatever he thinks.

‘He’s confrontational but he’s not malicious and he’s not a bully.’

I completely agree with Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh has always appeared so gentle and kind towards others. When Ruth Lorenzo left last week Louis Walsh was in floods of tears there is no way you can put on that amount of tears and passion for someone. Whereas Dannii Minogue, you could tell those tears were not genuine the other week. I think she was obviously upset about Ruth Lorenzo being thrown out, but when it comes down to it I think she put those tears on the other week to make Louis Walsh look bad.

Variety shows always used to do really well, but other shows seem to have over taken them in the popularity ratings. Today we see singing, dancing and an abundance of reality talent competitions. As far as variety goes, well… There just isn’t hardly anything. There is definitely a gap in the market for variety shows and now The Osbourne’s are bringing a new type of variety show to our screens and it will certainly have a spin on it with The Osbourne’s hosting it. It will be presented as an hour long show that is signed by Fox.

According to reports Fox alternative honcho Mike Darnell “envisions the show as similar to the heyday of variety skeins such as CBS’ 1970s staple ‘The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour’ and ABC’s ‘Donny and Marie.’” (“Skein” is Variety slang for “TV series.”) It will not only showcase the talents of ordinary people, but it will also include vocals by The Osbourne’s. The Osbourne’s will perform musical numbers with comedy sketches, game shows, audience parts and taped parts.

Amongst many traumatic things the Osbourne’s have been through in their lives, Ozzy’s life threatening all terrain vehicle crash on the grounds of his estate in Buckinghamshire must have been one of the most frightening. Ozzy underwent emergency surgery to repair a broken collarbone, six ribs and a vertebra in his neck.

Ozzy was enjoying a day off at the time of the accident after the release of his single “Changes” that he had recorded with Kelly. Ozzy’s injuries extended to an operation that lifted the collarbone which was resting on a major artery disrupting the blood flow to his arm. There was also bleeding to his lungs.

It seems a long time ago now since Ozzy was treated in Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, but it is a memory that the Osbourne’s will probably never forget. Fortunately thanks to his surgeon’s he recovered. The Osbourne’s seem to have had their fair share of trauma and difficulty in their lives, but they always stick together. It seems that for the Osbourne’s trauma pulls them together and makes them stronger as a family. They have been through situations that would break many families apart yet through thick and thin they have stayed together.

Celebrities including Ozzy Osbourne, Liv Tyler, and Marilyn Manson attended SPIKE TV’s 2008 Scream Awards that took place at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The SCREAM awards is the 3rd to take place anually. The SCREAM awards are rather special in that they pay tribute to the most talented in fantasy, sci-fi, comics and horror. The show was an excellent event and one that saw appearances by the industry’s most notorious stars including Kate Beckinsale, Kristen Bell, Rosario Dawson, the cast of “Dexter,” Jon Favreau, the cast of Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Samuel L. Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Stan Lee, Gary Oldman, the Osbournes, Seth Rogen, Winona Ryder, Kevin Smith and Liv Tyler, among many others. It was an event not to be missed as the two hour spectacular event included amazing musical perfromances by Grammy Award-winning band Smashing Pumpkins and new pop sensation Kerli.

It was televised in October, but for all those that missed it there are clips from the event on Youtube just type in Scream Awards 2008 and it will come up with quite a number of clips from the event. So don’t worry if you missed it because you can catch up.

The Osbourne’s are a household name, no matter whether you love them or not you will have heard of them. Maybe you even admire one particular member of the Osbourne family over another or love Ozzy’s music and Sharon’s larger than life personality. The Osbourne family have contributed a great deal to the entertainment industry in a wide variety of ways. There surely is no end to the Osbourne’s talent. The Osbourne’s have achieved more than a lot of people achieve in their entire lifetime. The Osbourne’s are interesting and inspirational.

Over the last few years it has not been easy for the Osbourne’s, having to watch Sharon’s father, Don Arden develop and eventually die of Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s is an illness that my Grandmother has and speaking from experience it is one of the most dreadful, cruel illnesses that I wouldn’t even wish on my own worst enemy. This illness takes you under until all you can remember are times gone by. You forget everything apart from the memories from the past which are hopefully good because if not then you will be living a nightmare.

I have worked with people who had Alzheimer’s and it is awful to watch how this illness takes them over and they lose the ability to control their bladder and bowel. They speak words that don’t make sense and seem to resort back to childhood. They forget their family and all those that are close to them. They may remember family at times, but they might forget that their daughter has actually grown up and still see them as a little child.

They get easily confused and sometimes go wandering often with no clothes on. It is an awful waste of a life and one of the cruellest illnesses that I know. The only peace they get is when the end comes and the inevitable happens, they die. Usually it is a relief for the family as well although obviously there is bereavement. Alzheimer’s is cruel for everyone involved with the care of the individual.

Sharon Osbourne looked after her father by paying the charges for a high class care home in United States. After everything that Don Arden put his daughter through when she was younger she still had the love and care to look after him in his last years of life. Sharon Osbourne visited her father, told him she loved him and paid for top quality care.

During these tough emotional times Sharon Osbourne kept loyal and faithful to her work in the UK and USA. This demonstrates what an honourable and hard working lady Sharon Osbourne is. Sometimes I wonder how she managed to fit it all in, but that’s Sharon she carries on even when everything else in her life is getting her down. Sharon Osbourne is an inspiration and role model many women can look up to.

Samsung mobile phones have got together with underwhelming messaging phones to launch an advertising campaign that will market their QWERTY slider phone. Their selling tool is Ozzy Osbourne which annoyed me slightly not because I’m not happy for any of the Osbourne’s to do well, but because I think it is the wrong thing for Ozzy to do. From all the reports about this ad I have read up till now it speaks about how people can learn of Ozzy Osbourne’s most marketable asset of senility. As far as I was concerned Ozzy Osbourne wanted to get away from that stereotype. Ozzy Osbourne is not all about senility. To say that the most marketable selling point is Ozzy’s senility is a lie because Ozzy has much more to give than this. Everyone who knows something about Ozzy knows that he has an amazing voice and is a very intelligent guy. He is creative and inspiring not just the senile character that most people associate him to be. That is part of him, but not the whole Ozzy. Why can people not look deeper? I think Ozzy is a great guy, I’ve even stood next to him before. Yes, it was a wax work, but I still stood next to him and if that wax work is anything to go off he is one hell of a tall man. Mind I am only 5 foot 2 and ½ inches. I think it’s bad how people judge others on what they might have been like in the past. The television can so easily lie about a person. It depends on the editing and how the programmers want you to come across.

 Kelly Osbourne has said that she wants to have a secret Elvis-themed wedding. Kelly Osbourne wants to marry model Luke Worrell in Las Vegas in Spring 2009.

A friend of Kelly said: “They want their wedding to be fun rather than a big, solemn occasion, which is why they are thinking something Vegas-style would work best. They are even toying with the idea of an Elvis-themed ceremony.
“They share the same sense of humour and unconventional streak, so they wanted to celebrate their love for each other with something different and memorable.”

It is surely going to be an exciting time for the couple and the marriage will be a time of celebration and special memories.

The couple spend a lot of time in London and Los Angeles have decided to enjoy a honeymoon in the beautiful scenic Caribbean Island of St. Lucia. They will spend their time at a luxurious private resort with each other before their close friends and family join them for a week long time of celebration.

I would like to add that I wish the couple all the best and I hope they enjoy a lifelong successful marriage with love and joy.

Did anyone see last night’s X Factor? What a shambles the judges made, well none of this would have happened if Sharon Osbourne had been there. Danni Minogue arguing with Louis Walsh then trying to stab him in the back to get revenge from whatever he had said off camera. Yet Danni Minogue took it one step further by saying what she thought of Louis Walsh directly on camera. At least Louis Walsh had the professionalism to say what he had to say off camera and not to make Danni Minogue feel humiliated in public.

Then when Rhydian said to Simon Cowell that he was grateful for all the help he’s given him. Did you see the colour of Simon Cowell’s face? It went bright red, in fact the whole of his body turned bright red and it wasn’t just the camera or lights that went wrong. What was Simon Cowell hiding behind that embarrassed look? Indeed what did he have to hide? Could he be hiding the fact that the voting lines were rigged so that Leon would win? Where is Leon? You hardly ever hear from him.

What a voice Rhydian has, I think it is one of the best voices in the whole of the world. I tried to vote for him, but guess what? I was one of the many who couldn’t get through. Strange that when the voting lines are always supposed to be open until the show declares them closed. That just made me feel so angry. Sharon Osbourne might have disliked Rhydian at first, but then she found out that she actually quite liked him. Eventually Sharon Osbourne fell in love with the sheer talent and even admitted that they were both similar. That indeed, they were both drama queen’s. I love Sharon Osbourne and I love Rhydian. I only wish that Sharon Osbourne could have had Rhydian in her group because I reckon she would have done him justice. At least that is one thing that can be said about Sharon Osbourne and not of Simon Cowell she truly cares for her contestants. Sharon Osbourne is a fantastic mentor and she is honest and open.

Cheryl Cole has spoken out about the attention the judges are receiving on this year’s X Factor. Cheryl Cole is not happy and has said that the show is about the contestants and not the judges. I think that Sharon Osbourne and Cheryl Cole will make the perfect soup together because they have the correct mix of ingredients. They are both empathic to the contestants and take an interest in them. The other judges don’t seem to be able to do that.

When the judges are laughing at the contestants because they have been so hopeless Sharon Osbourne and Cheryl Cole seem to have the right words to say therefore they would be brilliant together as judges. Also Sharon Osbourne would be able to teach Cheryl Cole a thing or two about the industry and they would probably enjoy a friendship that lasts longer than the X Factor. I think the two would compliment each other really well.

Cheryl Cole told the mirror in an interview:

“This isn’t about me, Louis, whatever. No! None of the judges are going to win it. People don’t vote for the judges. They vote for their favourite contestant,”

“Diana or Alexandra will win it, not us. We’re there to judge, to give advice, to build relationships with them.”

She added: “Of course, if one of my girls wins I’m going to go through the roof but not because I’ve won. And I promise you I’m going to make damned sure one of my girls wins.”

Sharon Osbourne cared deeply for her contestants and even put her contestants first before herself on many occasions. I think that Cheryl Cole and Sharon Osbourne have a lot in common and will be great working together.

I tend not to talk about Aimee Osbourne a lot and so I thought I’d dedicate this blog entry to Aimee Osbourne. Aimee Osbourne has the same middle name as her mother. Aimee like the rest of the family is a survivor. Aimee has been through a lot, but come out the other side. She has won a fight against breast cancer that she was diagnosed with at the young age of 21. This was an extremely stressful time for the family and at the time she was diagnosed Aimee and Sharon Osbourne were preparing for a part in the Vagina Monologues which they obviously had to pull out because of Aimee’s illness. It was not a decision they took lightly and didn’t want to pull out, but they weren’t left with any option.

Despite the fact that Aimee was seriously ill there was still a lot of bad press and rumours going around that they pulled out because of their own selfish reasons. Yet it wasn’t like that at all and Aimee was dealing with probably one of the worst times in her life. To make things worse the press hounded the Osbourne’s trying to get information out of them. In the end the Osbourne’s had to confess that Aimee Osbourne had breast cancer even though they wanted to keep it quiet. The family had decided deliberately not to tell the press, but the press did not respect that right.

Aimee Osbourne previously dated Taylor Hanson of Hanson although that’s in the past now. In regards to singing Aimee loves to sing and wants to make a career out of her singing. Aimee has a lovely voice, but has had to take a back seat because of her sister, Kelly Osbourne’s singing career.
