Return Of The Osbourne’s

Published by mickie31 at 8:42 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

In late winter 2009 The Osbourne’s will be premièring their new television show on Fox. With The Osbourne’s all working together again this should be a fantastic show for fans everywhere. Fox won rights to show this new variety production by Freemantle North America who have also produced “America Idol.” I believe this show will be a great success. It is time the family come together and work with one another again. I just wish that Aimee was working on the show also then it would be the whole family. I wonder if Aimee will make any appearances on the show it certainly would be good if she did.

When TVWeek.com heard of the show it held strong interest from four important networks. Fox won with at least six of the episodes being produced by them. ABC, CBS and NBC were the others who offered a six-episode commitment to the project, the first time that has occured since the time of Mark Burnett’s “The Contender” and the 2000 sale of “Big Brother,” according to a person familiar with the offers.

The show’s working title is “The Osbournes: Loud and Dangerous.” James Sunderland, a veteran of British variety shows, will executive produce.
Sharon, Ozzy, Jack and Kelly will take part in the show, that will portray modern-day European variety shows combining competition, stunts and performance. One person familiar with the pitch compared it to a combination of the popular Spanish-language series “Sabado Gigante” and the German game-show format “Wetten, dass?” (Wanna Bet?).
